College of the North Atlantic
College of the North Atlantic is the public college of the
Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The headquarters for College of
the North Atlantic and the Bay St. George campus are located in Stephenville, on
the west coast of the island portion of Newfoundland and Labrador. They are
Newfoundland and Labrador’s public college – one of the largest post-secondary
educational and skills training centres in Atlantic Canada, with a history
dating back more than 40 years. Today they have 17 campus locations throughout
Newfoundland and Labrador and one in the Middle East State of Qatar. The College
of the North Atlantic offers nearly 100 full-time program offerings and more
than 300 part-time courses for some 20,000 students each year.

Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland
The Marine Institute of Memorial University of
Newfoundland, popularly referred to as the Marine Institute (MI) or simply
Marine, is a post-secondary ocean and marine polytechnic located in St. John's,
Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is affiliated with Memorial University of
Newfoundland.
The Marine Institute is considered the most comprehensive institution of its
kind in North America, with unique facilities such as a full ships bridge
simulator and the worlds largest flume tank. It offers degrees, diplomas,
certifications and industry training for the maritime sector.
Marine's main campus is located on Ridge Road, overlooking the city of St.
John's. Satellite facilities include the Offshore Safety and Survival Centre's
training centre in Foxtrap, the Safety and Emergency Response Training Centre in
Stephenville, harbour-side facilities at pier 25 in St. John's, and ships of up
to 130 feet (40 m) in length.

Memorial University of Newfoundland, (colloquially known as
Memorial University or "MUN") is a comprehensive university located primarily in
St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
With historical strengths in engineering, business, geology, and medicine, it is
one of the top comprehensive universities in Canada. With over 17,000 students,
it is also the largest university in Atlantic Canada. MUN's four main campuses
are served by more than 900 faculty and 2,300 staff members. Memorial University
of Newfoundland has featured in the SJTU World university rankings, the TOP 500
and many other rankings.
MUN has four main campuses and two satellite campuses across three regions of
Newfoundland and Labrador, and in two countries (Canada and England). The main
campus in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador is split by Prince Philip Drive
where the northern section is bounded by Pippy Park, and the southern section is
largely surrounded by residential areas.
